The Bishops
The Bishops History

The Bishops are a family group from Kentucky. Brothers Mark and Kenny Bishop along with their father Kenneth Bishop began the group in 1984. The group released their first album, "He Gave His Life," in 1984 on the RCM records label. 

The Bishops received nominations for several Singing News Fan Awards. In 1992 Kenny Bishop was voted favorite young artist. The group collectively won favorite trio in 1997 and 1998. 

The Bishops traveled until 2001 when the group disbanded. During their ministry the group released over 20 albums.
