Greater Vision History

The Greater Vision Trio was Started in 1990 by Gerald Wolfe, Mark Trammell, and Chris Allman. Gerald Wolfe is the owner and manager of the group and is the only member to have stayed for the entire life of the ministry. There have been a small number of staff changes to this amazing group. Baritone singer Mark Trammell left the group in 1993 to sing and be a part of the ministry of The Gold City Quartet. He now leads his own group, The Mark Trammell Quartet where he sings and ministers to the lives of thousands each year. Mark was followed by Rodney Griffin who is considered by many to be one of the best song writers in Southern Gospel history. His addition to the ministry of Greater Vision is priceless and noticed by all. Chris Allman Left the group in 1995 and was followed by Jason Waldroup who spent the next 13 years singing tenor and touching the hearts of many. When Jason left greater vision in 2008 Jacob Kitson took the role of tenor and remained until 2010. Chris Allman returned to the group to sing tenor in 2010 and is still currently singing along side Gerald Wolfe and Rodney Griffin. The newest member to the group is Jon Epley. In 2017 Jon joined Greater Vision to sing in the baritone spot. At this time Gerald stepped back from singing to play the paino. Rodney Griffin then moved to the lead position formerly held by Gerald Wolfe. This move opened up the Baritone spot for Jon to sing. Jon has been a welcome addition to Greater Vision.
